Website terms & Conditions

Introduction

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information about your rights and obligations when using this website (the ‘Website’)

The Website is owned and operated by Waterlooville Car Supermarket Limited (‘we’/’us’/’our’) registered in England & Wales with Company Number 07917308 and a registered address of suite 17 Challenge Enterprise Centre, Sharps Close, Waterlooville, Hampshire, England, PO7 5RB. Our business address (for communications) is 1A Victoria Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire, England, PO7 7ET.

The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our Website. By browsing on or using the Website you are agreeing to comply with, and be bound by, these terms and conditions which, together with our privacy policy, governs our relationship with you regarding the use of our Website.

Waterlooville Car Supermarket Limited is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is listed on the Financial Service Register with Firm Reference Number 666740.

Waterlooville Car Supermarket Limited is authorised a both a lender and a broker. This website is promoting our services as broker and not our services as a lender. We use an algorithm to match our customers’ requirements to our panel of lenders and brokers which is based on many of the features of the application details, applicant preferences, and the lenders product. We do not charge you for this service, however we do receive a commission from the lender or broker that we pass you on to. This amount is variable.

We only want you to apply for a loan if you are sure you can repay it in full on your due date and still manage your other outgoings. By accepting these terms, you confirm you have provided accurate financial information and considered potential future income and outgoings in determining your ability to repay.

Eligibility to apply for a loan

To be eligible to apply for a loan and lawfully enter into and form contracts with us and the lenders, you must be 18 years of age or over, be legally capable of entering into a binding contract, provide full details of an address in the United Kingdom for the performance or delivery of the Services

Our broking service and what you authorise us and the lenders and brokers we have agreements with to do

By submitting an application, you give your consent to us doing the following:

  • Storing and processing your personal and non-personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy which forms part of these terms and conditions.
  • Electronically passing your details to one or more lenders or credit brokers with whom we have an agreement to try to find you the credit you are seeking. When this happens, in order to assist these in making a decision whether they can help you, they will search the files of one or more Credit Reference Agencies (CRA) or Fraud Prevention Agencies (FPA). This will result in each leaving a search footprint on your credit file. Full details of this can be found in our Privacy Policy.
  • When one of the lenders or brokers agree to review your application further, transferring you to their website so that you can complete the application process with them. While we will only work with authorised and regulated lenders, we make no recommendation that the lender that agrees to consider your application, or the loan they offer, meets all of your demands and needs, nor that the loan they offer is suitable for you. When you are transferred to their site you are under no obligation to complete the application process if you do not want to. We strongly advise that you read all of their Terms & Conditions, including any loan documentation, carefully and only proceed if you are happy with the product that they offer you. We will not pass any of your debit/credit card details to them, so if they make any charges in connection with the application, you will have to decide whether you want to agree to these and then make a payment arrangement directly with them.

No Loan

While we always try to find you a loan, there are circumstances where we are unable to do this. Submitting an application to us does not guarantee you a loan, and we will not be in breach of our obligations if we are unable to find you a loan. We strongly recommend that you do not make commitments to spend your loan until it is deposited in your bank account and will not be liable for any costs or losses suffered by you if we are unable to find you a loan.

If none of our lenders are willing to consider your application it may be an indication that a loan is not the best course of action for you. As an alternative you may wish to take some free and independent financial advice from the Money Advice Service at www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk or on 0800 138 7777.
